Terms of Service

SolarPro Lab is a solar advisory and consulting company serving homeowners in Connecticut, New York City, and Long Island. We help homeowners navigate the solar buying process — from initial assessment through provider selection and project oversight.

Important: SolarPro Lab does not perform physical solar installation work. We are an advisory company. Any solar installation is carried out by licensed third-party solar companies we recommend or coordinate on your behalf.

SolarPro Lab offers the following services, all at no cost to the homeowner:

• Free in-home or virtual solar consultation

• Custom system sizing based on your energy usage and roof

• Proposal review and analysis to make sure the numbers add up

• Incentive identification (federal, state, and local programs)

• Ongoing project support from permit to final inspection

There is no obligation to proceed at any stage of our process. You are free to walk away at any time, for any reason, with no penalty.

Solar savings and system performance vary based on many factors including your home's roof orientation, shading, local utility rates, annual sun exposure, energy consumption habits, and applicable incentives at the time of installation.

SolarPro Lab provides honest, data-driven assessments to help you understand what solar realistically looks like for your home. We do not guarantee specific savings figures, payback periods, or system performance outcomes.

All estimates we provide are projections based on available data and standard industry assumptions. Actual results may differ.

We will tell you plainly if solar is not a good fit for your home — whether due to roof condition, shading, ownership structure, financial circumstances, or any other reason.

Our obligation is to the homeowner's best outcome, not to closing a deal. We have no financial incentive to recommend solar when it isn't in your best interest.

All consultations with SolarPro Lab are free of charge and entirely non-binding. We will never charge you for an assessment, proposal review, or initial advisory session.

If you choose to proceed with a solar installation through a provider we recommend, you will receive a separate contract directly from that installer. SolarPro Lab is not a party to that installation contract.

SolarPro Lab is not liable for the actions, omissions, workmanship, or conduct of any third-party solar installer, including those we recommend. Our role is advisory — we help you evaluate and select the right provider, but we do not control the installation process.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SolarPro Lab's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to SolarPro Lab in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (which, for free services, is zero).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Connecticut.
